"That was for calling me the best brother AFTER Mike's visit. And THIS--" (he kissed her again) "--is for the great drum solo. You still get one when I hear the rest of your song, too."

Wilson Kramer, the former SEAL, suddenly was standing over Jason's chair. No one had seen or heard him entering the dining area. His young son Quinn was with him, and had entered just as silently. "Forgive me, Mr. and Mrs. Katon," said the East High security guard. "I didn't purposely eavesdrop, but I heard the parts about homeland security, flying and shooting. Kaitlyn, Jason, I can tell you quite a few things about those subjects at some suitable time, IF your parents know and approve." Then he began easing away from their table.

Jason jumped when Wilson Kramer said his parent's names.

"Oh no, that's fine." Mrs. Katon told Mr. Kramer.
"Yeah, anytime." Mr. Katon said.

"I have my own desk at school now," said Mr. Kramer to Jason and Kaitlyn. "You can make an appointment for after-school hours, or take your chances at meeting with me unannounced. I've got recruitment literature and other such unclassified stuff that you can look over...besides a few sanitized reminiscences."

* * MEANWHILE, BACK AT THE SENTIMENTAL SIBLING SCENE....

"Yes, I mean your fingers, sweets," Alipang told Chilena, smiling and clasping her hands. "Nobody in my daydreams has become real enough yet to be tapping on me physically."

" Al thanks," she told him, putting her arms around his neck " For everything," she told him, then went back following his heart bet " Hm," she said, putting her hand on her brothers " Follow what I'm doing," she told him.

Just as happy for the affectionate moment NOT to be ended yet, Alipang tried to do exactly as Chilena wanted him to. In view of their respective anatomy, he didn't figure that she wanted him feeling for HER heartbeat; so he tried to pick up the movement she was showing against his own chest.

She giggled " Al you don't have any rhythm," she told him, trying to making him follow the bet " there you go," she told him.

"I have rhythm for fighting," he told her; "but I never tried to follow my own heartbeat this way." He wondered what this was about; but if it made his changeable-tempered sister happy, it was fine.

" This is why I'm making you to do it when I'm up set and ready to punch something I place my hand over my heart and follow the rhythm," she told him, watching him tap his fingers on his chest.

"Okay, I guess that's a temper-holding device." Alipang forced a smile, restraining himself from reminding his deeply beloved Chilena that, if he had not _already_ had the power to control his anger, he would not now have a cracked rib, for it would have been Rocknose instead who was hurt last Wednesday.

He kissed Chilena's nose in loving imitation, then rubbed noses with her as his hands moved to rest on her shoulders. "Thank you, sweets. I love you."

" I know you do love you to," she told him, gently snuggling up to him " You my brother I don't know to loose you," she told him.

Affectionate moment definitely NOT ended yet--which is fine! Alipang settled happily into a renewed embrace, gathering Chilena as close against himself as he reasonably could. "God sparing us, you'll never lose me in this life, and Heaven's taken care of by the Lord." Cheek to cheek with her, he asked her, "Is there something you're afraid WOULD separate us?--I mean, separate us more than what's natural to happen as family members grow up and start their own households?"

She looked down " No, not right now at lest," she told him picking his hand up " Your hand is bigger then mine," she told him, putting her small hand on his.

He kissed her hand that had pressed against his. "And my big hands are there to keep your small hands from getting hurt, so that your small hands can safely do the sweet things they do."

She giggled " Your big hands need to stop betting up people," she told him, playing with his thumb " But I'm not mad a you because I would do the same thing if I was in your shoes," she told him.

After a long talk with Callie in the park Suri went back to her house went upstairs and laid on her bed and started to cry after 20 min... Her mom called...
