Then that would be your fault, I believe, and not theirs. You may have misunderstood or just taken them too seriously, but I doubt they were picking on you. I've had numerous encounters with all kinds of Duffers, even back before I was one myself, and I never felt picked on.

A Duffer? No, I don't think so. Nothing fazes me! I can go bungee jumping, and during my time at NYC, I wasn't afraid to touch and carry a snake 6 feet long!!!!!

Actaually, I've never been picked on in my entire life! When they are about to though, I give them either a really stern and/or agitated look and they get the message. Online, I do this:

Me: *raises eyebrow* Excuse me?
