What channel was it on?? I couldn't find it on MTV. Yes, crowd interaction is good *thumbs up* One thing I love about MCR concerts.

I was reading MCR: Something Incredible This Way Comes, and apparently whenever Gerard performed this one song off Three Cheers, he'd say 'You probably came here with your best friend...or one of your best friends. I want you to turn to that motherf*****, grab him by the throat and say, 'I f****** love you and I'd do anything for you''

Sorry about the swearing, I'm only quoting :eek: Anyway, that bit made me smile like an idiot ...which must have looked weird cos I was reading the book in HMV lol. But it was like a genuine smile that came out of nowhere XD

You must think I'm some kinda psycho...

of course not...try this everytime I hear the kill I wait in one part for jared to say "scream you F****** heads off" even when im not listening to it live...so you aren't psycho...I think H...R... would rather attest to my psychoness and how i wont listen to more than 3 songs of another band... of course there is nothing wrong with me hahaha
and hun what you think is your psychoness- it's called devotion my friend and its a a f******* good thing!

I only wish my mum would listen when I tell her about how many lives MCR has saved, and how they performed Under Pressure with The Used for the tsunami victims (Mikey and the tambourine- soooo adorable! :D).....but she thinks I'm turning into a goth/emo/someone who chases after boys/druggie :rolleyes:

hahaha don't worry about it- I'm pretty much as preppy as they come- I own more Lacoste polos tham probably my school put together- it's the style of the riding world I guess...but once I got into my band, my mom didn't care since she was once one of those crazy Beatle fans...so yeah, Like we were in the hampton's for the hampton classic horse show and we heard paul mccartney was staying at our hotel and she turned the wrong way onto the road once we got back in the car...so I luckily have a mother who is appreciating it and she likes my boys thank goodness (and it does help that i told her that jared went to college which he did lol)

Seriously your devotion will influence her one day hopefully, not everyone who loves the comeback of solid rock is emo... so yeah i'm living proof right here! Plus at leats my mother's generation were rock addicts- so you can always use that!

plus i love seeing someones devotion like yours it makes a difference when we are all working hard to bring bakc the alternative seen since it has bacially gone underground since the rise of hip hop- I'm dead serious about this...am I wrong?
 
You are terribly lucky that your mum likes 'your boys' :D If I told my mum I like Gerard she would go nuts because
a) She doesn't want me to date like, EVER.
b) Gerard is about 16-ish years older than me :D

I hope she is influenced in the future...but unfortunately she's one of those people who is very stubborn and strict.

yeah try jared is 19 years older than me, shannon is 20, but tomo is only 11 haha yes... (well matt is 14 but he's married lol) yup jared is the big 35...haha (I'm 16 lol) but yeah most bands (including my boys) have the childrnes lives saved stories- it's like a rippiling effect of the rock and roll world- passionate but realistic lurocs, not about hips shaking or what not lol- I know i sound so anit pop/rap/ hip hop/ r&B- cause for the most part I am I am not into crappy lyrics and less talent over amazing vocal skills and hardcore playing talents in the alternative rock world...the intsitution of grunge brought us down (thank you Tomo Milicevic for enlightening me on that one) but the theatrics are coming back and we need to get more of a word out there- it seems as new years improved with panic, MCR, and AFI performing- but the award shows this year were horricif the rapper performcances that last like 20 min were painful and that needs ot kind of go away in my opinion...one positive thing though- last year the mtv2 vma was won by FOB, and then this year (well now the last year but you know what i mean) was 30- now we had to beat, three 6 mafia, young joc, lil wayne, and tkaing back sunday for that- still the fact that the award fell into a rock bands hands for year 2 is very great- it shows fan devotion- there are no better fans than the rock band fans...who is with me - BBRM (Bring back rock music)...
 
Heh, why do all band members have to be so old? Now, if there was a band made up of let's say, 14-15 year olds they'd be more my age lol

I absolutely HATE songs that have no meaning, like rap and dance, and even more than that I DETEST music videos that are sexist. So many videos are becoming sexist to women- you probably know what I mean.

Bwahaha rock band fans are the best.....though some scare me a little XD But that's devotion eh? :D

that's the truth the minute my mother saw me go in line with certain 30 fans she was like are you sure you are ok w/o your friend here yet? lol it's devotion...people express it differntly... finally someone who has that same hate for that meanless music! and as far as ages are concerned the best you are going to get i guess is panic- right brendon is what 19? yeah...thats as close as you can get...

hahaha same here...i love older guys...yeah fanwear is fun too i like showing it off...but in school with the dress code and all i just keep my one sign of fandom- my nails will forever be red and white (kind of the 30 colors- well the colors of the [ECHELON]) so yeah...I bet when you are a little older your mom will come around...ask her if she was into the bands of her time- she probably was...
 
Ooh we're not allowed any form of makeup in school, sadly.

HAH we're all Indian, and in India the number of rock bands (or any other band) is ZERO. And my mum was a good little girl who was top of the class permanently and who never troubled her parents. Which I admire, but I could never be that good.

aww no makeup- if i went liek grunge i would be killed by my parents, but i would never yeah my mom actually warned me about going to down that path- but i dont care- i wear like dark gray make up liek everyday cause thats what when i have had it done professionally they say is best for me- but it goes with the band theme a little bit (not to mention its the hottest look in runway fashion hahaha) but yeah when i go see 30 - i bring a picture of jared's eyes and i have someone do it professionally for me- its such a treat and then i actually look legal (not liek that matters-well it does lol)...it gives me so much confidence yeah my mom likes to see that too...

I'm already planning what I'd wear to an MCR gig! Though I'll probably never go to one. It's still fun though- and I fantasise all sorts of weird things...like me meeting the guys at the end of the concert.
Oh, and another common fantasy is me giving Gerard a picture of himself that I've drawn, and him being thrilled with it :p I drew a pic of him just the other day actually... XD

yeah if MCR comes out like 30 after like the signing- they go to the bus and basically only us devoted realise where to find the bus and that they come out and talk to us...and they are all so nice... yeah i had a very interesting great experience last time- ill pm you it if you want details lol...but the eyes ok lets see...usually gray/black, but at NYC concert i went too it was dark blue with glitter- just a little bit and it go all over my face when he hugged me for the picture lol- but he has done liek light purple and all sorts of things in the past but its usually like just dark- iwould ruin this thread with the pictures of jared, I will pm them...

itsd an important thing to love your fans....cause then we love bakc- I know the feeling hence why we are labeled for me "their family" and "a cult" hahaha its a good feeling being so loved!
 
Yeah, the reason why fans (well, female fans) always seem to refer to favourite bands as 'my boys' or something is because they love their fans and the fans love them back for that.

I was watching Kerrang! just now and they played 'I'm Not Okay' TWICE!! It's my dad's b'day, so my mum was randomly taping everyone with our video camera, and when it came on the first time, I went 'IT'S MY CHEMICAL ROMANCE!'
And my mum came over and started taping me watching it, and went 'Here's Rachael being a punk and watching My Chemical Romance' and then she turned it to the TV and started filming the video! :D Maybe she's coming around...or maybe she was just in a good mood because everyone loved the cake she baked even though it was burnt. I'm going for the second option :p
