Alipang accepted the half muffin, filled his mouth with part of it, and spoke with as comical a stuffed-mouth voice as he could manage for her amusement [more distorted than print can easily represent], "I know wut yoor reery up foo: tryin' to stop me fum talkin'."

"I must confess, my money doesn't come from Escrima; not enough students. I'm a tax accountant most of the time."
 
"GROSS??" exclaimed Alipang in pretended amazement, for the purpose of opening wide his still-full mouth, its contents almost falling out.

At the park, Master Pitik struck a pose with twin Escrima sticks, to give Suri her first shot.
 
"I'll come later to take photos of u and your animals Erin, see ya later" Suri followed Master Pitik.

"Wow... nice pose keep still " said Suri and start taking pics...
 
Jason and Kaitlyn arrive on scene. Jason begins setting his anime booth up under the shade of a giant tree while Kaitlyn sets a table and chairs for her fingerpainting booth.
 
A Hispanic boy wearing a West High Panthers jacket joined them, addressing Pitik as "Master" with obvious respect. He also looked at Suri with obvious interest--but a civilized, gentlemanly interest.

"Suri," said Master Pitik, "this is Gilberto [Spanish G sound] Costamesa, son of our police chief and my third-best student; he'll be in the demo too, so be sure to make him look good." [A-Y, you can control Gilberto; in fact, you may have seen him and his parents at Nueva Vida, for they attend there.]

Alipang swallowed his mouthful and set the wrapped remainder out of the way before reacting to Chilena's playful shove. "Trying to take advantage of an injured man, are you? Well, I'm not scared of you! On guard!"--and he playfully grasped some of her hair as if pulling it, without really pulling.
 
"Hi" said Suri to Gilberto "I'm Suri Yanes, nice to meet you" -Suri

"Oh... Hi, I think I've seen you somewhere" - Gilberto

"Me too... Perhaps in church?, I go to Vida Nueva's church"- Suri

"Yes I've seen you there u are family of Jullissa and Antonio right?"- Gilberto

"Yes I am, if u excuse me I have to take the pictures" -Suri

"Sure" -Gilberto still looking at Suri
 
Gentle Voice said:

Mental Note To Self, thought Alipang: she doesn't want to play-fight anymore. So he remained sitting and quietly finished the rest of the muffin.

Meanwhile, Pastor Stetzer showed up at Jason's booth and glanced at the already-existing drawings on display. "Good morning, Jason! Is my Cowboy Bebop drawing completed? Because if it isn't, you're going to have to set up your booth in Howl's Moving Castle instead. If that becomes necessary, I'll have Speed Racer drive you there, and Princess Mononoke will pose for you."
 
" I been want to use my water gun for awhile now," she told him, with a smirk the shout some water out " Ha there no lets see if you can run," she told him.
 
"Hey Gilberto if u want to be in demo you must change your clothes" -Suri

Gilberto turn red "Yes, right, I'll be right back"
 
So Alipang ran at half his normal speed, finding that the inevitable pain wasn't so bad. He had to give Dad some credit there, for keeping the wrapping of his ribcage good and snug.

Back at the waterfront, Shavonda Moore from Redemption Church was chatting with employees of the local Christian radio station; they, like people from two secular stations, were broadcasting live today from Lakeshore Park.
 
He went faster, until his ribs were hurting too much. Instead of showing the pain, he whirled back upon Chilena, grabbed the squirt-gun away from her with a shout of "Disarm!", and swept her into a hug.
 
"Oh, hey Pastor Stetzer, yeah, here it is." Jason rifled through his notebooks and papers until he found a rather good likeness. "Here's your Cowboy Bebop!"
 
While Suri was taking the photos Callie showed up...

"Hey Suri...!!!, how r u?" -Callie

"Oh hi Callie, how is it going?" -Suri

"Oh Nothing just came to see around, and tell me now u r a photographer" -Callie

"This, Master Pitik asked me if I wanted to take some pictures of the Esgrima team, and he'll pay me fifty dollars" -Suri

"That's cool" -Callie

Later Gilberto joined the scene.

"Good now come over, now pose like if you had made a touche or whatever you call it" -Suri to Gilberto

"Like this?" -Gilberto

"Yes, perfect now stand still" -Suri

Suri continued taking pictures...
