Pirates II -- Come on, Be A Pirate (Please do not delete)

Fish and Machia heard a loud cry from the ship. "He must've realized we're gone!" Machia shouted. "Arr...we have to hide first. Then we'll DV a knight or ranger to come git us and take us back to the mainland."

The pair quickly took refuge in the thick forest. They ran deep into the woods and as they searched for signs of intelligent life. Finding none, they found a spring and rested beside it. "Machia..." Fish said slowly, "wasn't Galma always densely populated? Arr... Where be everybody?"

He sat up with a start. "Fish! How could we forget? All those tales of High King Peter and King Edmund and Queen Susan and Queen Lucy! They left Narnia, and when they came back, they were but a few years older, but Narnia-"

"-Had seen several decades!" She finished. "Oh no! How many years must have passed for Galma to be unpopul--" An arrow whizzed by her ear, and with a sharp thwang became lodged in the tree behind her. In a flash both she and Machia had instinctively stood up and reached for their pistols, only to remember they were unarmed.

Fish spoke cautiously, "Arr...who be there?" No response came. She went to take a step foward, but Machia stopped her.

"Arr...show yerselves," Machia said sharply. Again, no response. Fish and Machia looked at eachother, unsure of what to do. Fish was sure that the owner of the arrow could hear her heart thumping, but still she kept quiet. Finally, after what seemed like minutes, a figure emerged from the shadows.

The figure waited a couple of seconds before deciding to show itself. It sensed the two figures were uneased and nervous but it was no reason for her to let her guard down. Streching the string and arrow farther away from the bow the figure finally took a step forward emerging slowly from the shadow. Its face was covered with the hood of a black cloak, but both, Machia and Fish could tell the figure was female. "Your heartbeat sounds as louds as drums of war. A bit nervous, perhaps?" she told Fish.

Fish and Machia stood standing in their spot knowing that with no weapons their lives were in immediate danger, and they both weren't ready to have their lives ended right there and then.

"I demand ye give us a name!" Machia said.

"Demand? What happened to good manners," the figure said. She moved a little to her left where Fish was standing and started walking around her.

"We be pirates! Thar be no need fer us to use manners," he said.

"Pirates, eh?" the mysterious girl streched the string on her bow to the point it was about to break. "I always though Pirates were people legends and myths were made of. I'd never thought there would be people delusional enough to call themselves pirates," she said.

"I be Fish, this be Machia. Now what be yer name?" Fish demanded.

"There's no reason for me to tell you who I am," she said. "...Just yet," she said after a pause.

Despite the fact that Machia and Fish were only two people, and the orcs an entire band, the orcs were able to keep on the pirates' trail. Panting, Fish and Machia made it to the western bank, praying that, if nothing else, they could swim out and hide in the water to shake the orcs. Blessedly, (even more so for Machia, as he had always found "something else" to do when the pirates tried to give him swimming lessons) a small boat had washed up onto shore. It was made of a very heavy wood, as as the pirates dragged back into the sea, they discovered why it had been abandoned: a large crack ran through the bottom. Despite the circumstance, Fish grinned at the challenge. She scanned the treeline and saw what she was looking for, then she kneeled down, searched the sand, and found a large shell.

"Machia, bring the boat back out o' the water, and lay it upside down." She shouted over her shoulder as she ran back inland.

Using the shell as a makeshift saw, Fish began to chisle away at the bark of a tree, hoping to peel off a sliver to use as a wedge in the crack. She was so focused, that she didn't notice the faint breathing near her until a twig snapped under the person's foot.

"Who's there?" Fish asked cautiously. She waited with bated breath... Like before, there was no reponse.

"Fish?" Machia called from shore. "Who are ye talkin' to?" Fearing that she might provoke the stranger, Fish didn't respond. "Fish!" Machia called again. When Fish again didn't respond, he started running towards where she was.

"Who's there?" Fish said again. Her voice sounded small and far away...

"Arr...show yerself!" Machia growled.

"Take them as prisoners," the young woman said. She lowered her bow as six other figures in hooded cloaks emerged from the woods rididng horses that were the darkest color of black Machia and Fish had ever seen. If Black had any color darker than itself. Machia and Fish struggled as they were being gripped by two tall men each. They thought about teleporting away but somehow the men that were holding them down had a supernatural grip on them.

Machia tried to fight back when all of a sudden he stopped.

"Take them to the Ranger's camp," machia overheard the young woman say.

"Wait! Yer a Ranger?" he asked as he tried to raise his head from the ground.

The woman stopped dead on her tracks and with out twisting her body and sholders she looked back at Machia. "You have heard of us?" she asked.

"Yes! We pirates were yer allies at one point when Elindil was yer leader!" Fish said with a sigh of relief.

The woman turned around and walked towards Machia and Fish who were on the ground being held by two Rangers each. She bent down and looked at both of them in the eye then turned to another Ranger who was next to her and coldly told him, "Tie them up and take them to the Ranger's Camp."
With that said she whistled and another black horse came galloping towards her.

"Anais," she said as she patted the horse on it's head. She got up on her horse and motioned for the other Rangers to continue.

I went to the POTC ride yesterday at Disney and guess who I bumped into!

ooc: Bad, bad, bad Twilight! Sorry I haven't posted in so long. I'm back.

ic: "So, Capn', do we have any idea of how to get where Fish and Machia be? I have a hankerin to get back to Narnia, and see what the old Wizard's been up to while we've been gone... I've been thinkin... accordin to ancient legends, the Calormenes came to Narnia from a cave that existed in this world. I've been thinkin as well... according to the different times that happen in our worlds, could it be possible that that cave still exists? I be thinkin that the island could exist not too far away from where we be now. Of course I'd have to hear a some expert navigating advice from IOWW, but I be thinkin it could be an option. Aslan knows, I don't want to leave Machia and Fish alone any longer than we have to with the enemies..." Twilight growled, her dark brown eyes flashing with interest and determination.

ooc: Wait... do we know that Fish and Machia are in Narnia?

Maybe I could consult some old mystic book or other to see if I could find a way of getting into Narnia. Then we could sail toward whatever the book said to, and get caught in a storm while crossing the Bermuda Triangle, and when the storm clears - whammo, we're in Narnia.

ooc: Hey, that sounds good to me! It'll help move this RPG along quickly... :D

Arrr, Meryy Christmas to me mateys!! :D

Please forgive my double post...

Twilight, Gondorgirl and I will be leaving December 26th on vacation (Disney World!) and will be gone until January 4th... :D

So until then, Neither Twilight or I will be here... Fish has control of my characters: Machia the First Mate and Norrington. (I don't know anything about the Twilight Terror.)

Anyway, don't let the Black Spot burn - Oh wait... It's already been destroyed... Oh well... You can go ahead and let the Dauntless burn down while I'm gone if you fancy a good ship burning... :p

Arrrr... So, be good bloodthirsty corsairs while I'm away! ;) And don't eat all the apples! Gar...

With all due respect,
Machia
Your friendly neighborhood First Mate

ooc: Yeah, I'll second what Machia said. Disney World ahoy! :D So whatever you pirates do, just say Twilight went along with it and blew stuff up with her cannons when need be. She also knows a lot about Narnia, so use that if you need to. I'll be back in not too long. God bless you all, Merry Christmas!

ic: Waiting for news about thier quest to find Machia and Fish Twilight stared unblinkingly up at the dark night sky. Everyone else on the pirate ship was sleeping, save the few pirates who were helping keep the ship on course and Twilight, who never slept. Looking up at the stars she felt a hope unprovoked by thier current situation. A particularly bright one shone in the East, and Twilight smiled up at it. "Peace on earth, and hope for all mankind..." she whispered to herself. "Thank ye..."

ooc: maybe I shouldn't feel too guilty for not being on for a while, but I still kinda do.... srz!

ic: Emmy was up that night too. She had noticed how many apples had started to roll around the deck without Micha here to eat them all. The moon shone bright that night and she realized it was almost Christmas, "Aye, that be the most sacred day in me life. Magic happened that night."

ooc: OHHHHHHHH I JUST GOT A BRILLANT IDEA!!!!!:D
