Prince Caspian: Ben Barnes & why is he so old?

I mean, if Disney knew that certain things would upset people, I don't think they'd do it intentionally because they lose business, support, and money.
 
See, the thing is I was athinkin' they'd do stuff that we may not like, because they believe that we'd like it. A mere problem of interpretation on their part (i.e. they don't check NarniaFans or other sites and use the fan reaction(s) to gauge decision-making on things like this). They (like GL) cast such and such people or insert some flirtation/romance 'cause they think that spicing the plot up will bring more fans in and thus more money, NOT in order to screw with the story. But it either ends up back-firing on them or it turns into some genius move that boosts their sales. I'm not demonizing them just observing. Hopefully my grammar made sense, 'cause it ain't been so good ever since I stopped a learnin';).

No, you just sound like you're from Texas.

I agree with you (for the most part). Since that kind of stuff is in our everyday lives, some companies feel like it will add to the story; but I hope they don't put a romance in there.

I completley agree with you about William Mosely, and I must sat that I was slightly disapointed with Anna as Susan as well...though it might have been just the stupid writers who made her character fall apart. Prince Caspian is also one of my favorite characters, and when I saw that Ben Barnes was playing him I got worried...he's 26 for God's sake. I hate this waiting now...its painful not to know if they will ruin it or not.

You can say stupid... I think... but 'for God's sake' is considered swearing. I for one, would appreciate it if you didn't take my Lord's name in vain please. :)


Really, everbody, I don't think that we have anything to worry about. This movie is in capable hands. Hands that have proven themselves to be trustworthy in the past. I'm not worried and for sure I'm not going to hyperventilate about it until next May! ;)

:D Well, it was originally a random snow dance, and I did it at school. Then, that night it snowed :eek: I did it again the next night for fun, and I didn't have school the next day either :D It might be a good luck charm :p
