No he actually descended from Pirates of the South Sea in other words, Pacific Ocean pirates, a good majority of them were Brits or Americans, if they were not they were Malay.

It's on the production blog on Narnia.com...go check it out Ink. It's interesting. It's amazing how much the kids grew as well. I knew Skandar was one inch shorter than Will...but it's different when you see it. With Georgie bigger and her hair longer I noticed that one has to look harder at which is which...not so much in Ben's blog, but in the trailor stuff I saw at Comic Con when they're standing closer together. It's not hard to tell, but the difference isn't as obvious as it used to be.

A friend of mine posted it on another site. I must say I am really looking forward to this movie. I like Ben. My feeling tells me they have done the right thing. At first i wasn't so sure if it was good to have an actor much older than the books Caspian but after seeing this teaser I am certain Adam and his crew did the right thing. This should be a movie both older and younger audience will love!

Well, be careful on the younger audiences...I'm gonna check it out before taking the kids because it is darker, more action packed, and frankly violent. From what I saw it's a no holds bar kind of thing and the kids are out to take their Narnia back at all costs. Ben's Caspian is interesting, but I'll reserve judgement till I see the whole thing.

I'm sure when the time comes (of which I'm not looking forward) and all the little Barnes fans come pouring into the forum under the name "BenLuv3r" or something, ABright or someone will put out a huge bulletin, "ALL FANS OF BEN BARNES WHO CALL THEMSELVES BENINITES MUST BE THUS REINSTATED AS BENJAMITES"
