Prince Caspian: Ben Barnes & why is he so old?

Then I'll call myself a Caspian fan. :D

But seriously, he wasn't as horrible as I thought he would be. Just the Caspian/Susan thing ticked me off.

I just hope that the forum will be as 'alive' as the 'old days'. Remember,lots of Skandarnites,Willianites? :p
 
I agree, from the teaser/trailer, he looks great. Still wondering about how they are going to portray his having a tutor and all that, losig his nurse, etc. as he was much younger then .... I hope they are not cutting that bit out of the script, as his being reunited with his old nurse is a very sweet scene in the book.

Oh yeah! I loved that part! I also hope they keep the part with the school girls looking out the window of the classroom and seeing a lion. That was funny.:p

I agree, that whole time of Aslan romping through Narnia and setting everyone free (who wants to be free) is great, like the teacher who is afraid to follow him, but does ...
 
I think he's a great Caspian, even if he isnt blonde. He will become a very big hearthrob for many fangirls, because he is very attractive as well. But i think his age will be ok and he will be a perfect Caspian!

(I saw a young man at the beach who looked so much like ben, too bad it wasnt him :p)

Oh, great. When PC comes out, there's going to be a ton of girls who register at TDL simply because they think Mr. Barnes is good looking.

Bleah. He's cute, but I'd want to appreciate the story and his acting, too :p He does seem pretty good, now that I've seen the preview. Although...he's putting on an accent in the part when he says "I am Prince Caspian"! So they really did go on the Mediterranean idea...oh, and he's wearing makeup to look darker-skinned, I could tell...I wonder what he'll be like in Stardust! I must see it, as it will be my first glimpse of him and his acting before PC :D Oh, and I love Neil Gaiman too, LOL.
 
If I swooned over anyone in the LWW movie it was Mr. Tumnus. And I kind of kept my obcession to my self, *Runs and Hides her Mr. Tumnus fan club card* JK JK :D :D :D :D
 
At any rate, I did not join the site because of my liking the movie, I had flirted with the idea of joining it before the movie came out, I just did not because I did not think my parents would want me to, They have regretted the day last October when I finally took the plunge ever since. In their opinion I get on here way to often.

Back to the subject of Ben Barnes now.
