hey guys, i have a question!! who said, that narnia will bumped to 2008?? Is that sure??

I think it was announced by Walden Media a few weeks ago-- I think I read it on NarniaWeb...

But since then there was another article about Walden, and they said they are still planning for a 2007 release....

So I'm just biding my time until something real and completely solid about the actual release date is announced.

By the Time Prince Caspian comes out, I will not be a 10th grader but attending either Wheaton or Cedarville by the time comes around for Price Caspian to be released. Well as long as its as good or better than LWW. Then I am willing to wait.

it would be smart to do that, if you think about it. but if they work on three movies at the same time, each movie won't get the atention that is needed to make a movie. but they most likely will get it right.and the horse and his boy could be made in between the LWW and PC, U know just so there is a movie realeased because really the only same character that would be the same would be aslan, and they could use the actors that play the older pevensies in the small parts in which they come out so you just know who it is and for the sake of having the same actors, other than that everyone is completely different and the age problem wouldn't exist. and i'm not saying that that is the best thing to do its just an idea, because really it would be beter to have it in the real order, but i just suggested it because it would be good to have a movie realeased sooner, it could even be shot while the works and preparations of shooting three epic movies at the same time, because that really is an assignment

Ok, so the original date was set for Christmas 2007. But then one article said that it was moved to 2008. Was it moved to Christmas 2008, or just year 2008 without getting any more specific than that? Sorry, I didn't get to read the article.

Summer 2008! I guess that is better than waiting until Christmas, but I liked having them come out at Christmas! It's not fair, they are bumping it so it won't be relased the week after some other important fantasy movie:

Walt Disney Pictures' follow-up to Andrew Adamson's blockbuster The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe has been pushed back from December 14, 2007 to summer 2008.

Disney has moved its "Narnia" sequel off the Christmas 2007 release schedule to summer 2008 to avoid competition with the similarly themed fantasy fable "The Water Horse."

Tuesday's move of "The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian" came hours after Columbia Pictures staked a claim on December 8, 2007 for "The Water Horse." "Prince Caspian" had been slated for December 14, 2007.
That is so lame!!! Who cares about the stupid Water Horse, and why should it get to be released instead of PC?!
:(

umm.. I kind of said that this shouldn't be a big deal until it is confirmed. Well it is now!!! Oh no Summer 2008, I didn't even know there was gonna a 2008. NO NO NO why can't Water Horse come out in the summer and Caspian in the winter before it WHY!!!

oh, no....
i read this today!!!

'According to The Hollywood Reporter The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian has been bumped from the Christmas 2007 release slot and moved to summer 2008. According to The Reporter the announcement from Disney came hours after Columbia Pictures announced that they would release Walden’s The Water Horse on December 8, 2007. While the article states that Disney feared the films would cannibalize each other, it has appeared for several weeks that Caspian would be pushed back to 2008. Adamson is still working on the screenplay and casting director Pippa Hall has said she won’t begin casting for the role of Caspian till this fall.

"The Water Horse" is the story of a young lonely Scottish boy who discovers a mysterious egg on the shore of a loch. The egg hatches and a mysterious creature - the mythical water horse, the sea monster of Scottish legend - emerges. As the monster grows, the boy has his hands full trying to hide the monster from people who don’t understand it and want to hurt it. Weta Digital and Weta Workshop will be creating the effects for the film.'

please not!!!
i cant wait sooo long!!!

NO THIS WONT BE GOOD AT ALL!!!!!1
argh i hate movie release dates at the moment! first stormbreaker, now this! OMG i already have to wait long for a million other movies and now i have to wait even longer for this one!!!

i think i'm gonna go in my room and break something...
(don't worry, i'll probably end up only ripping a piece of paper into a million little pieces and burning them :D)

i researched it too and look what i found

"The Hollywood Reporter lives up to its name with the breaking news that the much-anticipated Disney/Walden sequel The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian has been rescheduled to open in the summer of 2008. Previously slated for December 14, 2007, the feature adaptation of C.S. Lewis's fantasy novel was moved in part due to Walden's family fantasy The Water Horse (a co-production with Columbia Pictures) being pegged for a December 7, 2007 opening."
i guess its better that christmas 2008, but i liked the hjoliday season release treatment so much better. but why did they do this to make way for another movie???? this is what they did to cars to make way for chicken little last winter, they usually move big movies like that to make low potential movies ( i'm not saying it will be bad but it was more porssible for prince caspian to take all the audiences away from water horse).
