I doubt that the series would probally go that route. George and Rick has said many times, that it would not be about the Skywalker stuff. In fact I think a one-time Ewan Mcgregor cameo would be about as good as we could hope for. But it's cool to hear him come out and say it.

So, apparently Ian McDiarmid will appear at Celebration VI, which is one of the only times he actually will appear at a celebration.

And the Clone Wars season 5 teaser is online. I'll probably watch more in season 5 just because I'm super curious as to where this Darth Maul revenge thing will go.

I really liked A New Hope when I was a kid. Something about the two moons captured my imagination and I had the biggest crush on Luke Skywalker. *G* :D

I never could get into any of the other films, though, even after a couple watchings of each.

Did you hear that they said a new SW film will be released every two years for the forseeable future? This is awful! I will watch them, but will never consider them actual SW films!

Did you hear that they said a new SW film will be released every two years for the forseeable future? This is awful! I will watch them, but will never consider them actual SW films!

I'll watch them out of a sort of morbid curiosity to see how they will mangle the original trilogy I once loved.

Seriously, though, I have no idea how they are going to go about this. Are they going to use different characters entirely like Luke's son to tell the story, or are they going to use Han, Luke, and Leia? If they go with the latter course, are they going to bring back the significantly aged Hamill, Fisher, and Ford, or are they going to hire new stars like Pattinson (I cringe at the very notion) to try and fail to live up to the greatness of Ford?

All these possibilities seem like ways to make more of a laughingstock and nightmare out of a saga I loved watching as a child? Why can't Hollywood ever let movie series die natural deaths? Why do they have to milk the golden cow until it doesn't bear the faintest resemblance to an animal?

I'm an optimist, so I wish I could be happy about this, but really I'm just quaking in my boots...
