I definitely will NOT eat anything, just because I can touch it.
First this theory made me hungry, but reading about all these apples made me thirsty as well.

Applejuice goes well with pancakes - so it's perfect for this theory!!
After eating and drinking I can feel the light of wisdom shining on me.
Perhaps Duffers don't come from neither spoons nor sporks. No, we come from apples. Every time an apple is eaten, a Duffer emerges from its core, with wings like a butterfly - flying away while the core is thrown away!!

This could turn out to be a "fruitful" discussion!
It suddenly dawns on me.
What if all Duffers aren't of the same origin? Perhaps we all come from different fruits. Some from apples, others from oranges, others again from pears etc. But only from fruits, of course, not vegetables or anything else.
