Of course one can explain a Duffer theory!! As long as the "explanation" is far out, it's fine!
That's the fun of this thread, writing silly stuff and calling it a theory.The "soup/spoon etc. theory" is perfectly sensible in the world of Duffers, but not anywhere else. Because it's totally far out!!! And this makes it a valid Duffer theory!
So bring forward the "Duffer Relativity Theory"!
I think I'll have some pancakes, this discussion makes me hungry, for some reason!

If something makes sense to Duffers, it's Dufferish enough!!
If it makes sense in the real world, it can never be a valid Duffer theory!
But I haven't read anything on this thread till now, which would make sense in the real world! (Not even close!) So we must be on the right track!!
Of course we're on the right track!! Even if we add the brand new concept as the "Far Out Theory (and some pancakes!)."

Good idea. The mousetrap game can never be in any duffer theory because duffers and mice might be related. But no one has proved that yet, so put it away anyway.
Duffers are closer relatives of otters, it's all in the spelling
You might be on to something: duffers and water, otters and water... the problem is that there are also water rats!! Rats!
Yes and I suppose water rats would be more likely to be closely related to duffers than otters because rats aren't usually in the water and duffers are known to be found in very strange places
Maybe the duffer's foot evolved from a water rat that got stucked to a blob of silliness!!
But then they would be a lot like the single celled organisms I've been learning about, I should have known...
