The four-hoofed creatures are my brothers. Especially if the hooves are cloven.

It just occurred to me that buffalo have cloven hooves, and apparently they also chew their cud, so they are clean animals and could have been sacrificed in the Old Testament if they hadn't lived across an ocean. Thanks, WS....

Er, no. Trying to grasp the horns of the alter is not a good idea when they are trying to get you on the altar in the first place.

Also, come to think of it, I don't think many Christian altars even have horns.
