Well, I've started making graphics. For a long time, I insisted that I never would, but I've given in.
I'm experimenting with picnick and paint, and so far, here are my offerings:
(The third one was one I made for the 2011 C.S. Lewis Quote Calendar.)
I like the first one
Here are some graphics I've made in the last month or so.
I made this one for a "The Hobbit" banner contest. It's still going on, check it out if you're interested.
I did the blending-ish stuff in paint. It was a headache, but all in all I'm pleased with how it came out. After I got the dwarves overlaid on the map, I did the rest of the editing in Picnik.
I made these next three with the production stills of the dwarves in "The Hobbit".
I added a border to the other graphic, and here are the results. I think I like the first one better.

Here are some more graphics I've made within the last week. I'm giving direct links to all of them, because they're big, and to my great vexation, the thumbnail thingy isn't working. >.<
The first three I made from this base photo. I'm really happy with how they turned out. I made a bunch, and these are the ones I really like. The third is the best, in my opinion.

I'm really happy with this last one. If you're not a Whovian, you won't get it, but I like it anyway. The one vexing bit is that her right eye became blacked out when I added the effect. It was already very darkened, though, so I guess I shouldn't be so picky.

I like them very much! I like the sparkles especially.
That one's good, but it does look kind of strange with her eye all black. Maybe if you lightened the photo some before you added the effect it would be better?

I like your Doctor ones! I wish I could make Doctor graphics but somehow I can't get myself to make graphics with guys in them!! LOL! I wan't to make graphics with Rose, but I love her too much that with my present skills, I'm afraid I won't make good ones. This is the reason why I like your Rose ones! I agree with others that the first one is the coolest!

The Rose ones are great, but– *squee* –the Idris one is amaaaazing. <3 The black eye is a bit odd, but since her face is in shadow on that side, it isn't too bothersome. The fonts and colors thereof are fantastic. It's weally awesome. x3

I appreciate the suggestion, and wanted to try it, but when I looked back at the original photo, I realized it wouldn't work, because she already had a shadow on her eye like that, I just expanded it. So I don't think it would work- at least, not with my current abilities.

Thanks! I like that one a lot except that it kinda looks like she has a black eye because of the purple right there! xP It looks like no one noticed, though.... Or at least didn't say anything. xD

Still, I understand how you feel...Yay, I'm glad you like it! So I take it the second line of text isn't too hard to read? And as for font color, I did color-pick and I was thrilled with how it turned out. =D
