This page covers The White Witch in the console and PC version of The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe.
The White Witch is a pattern boss, and it becomes much easier once you stop trying to overpower it. The final battle is built around a simple loop: open with the right character, trigger the environmental phase correctly, then switch quickly for the real punish window.
Before you push forward
- Watch for the reset. Every time the boss cycle restarts, you should mentally restart too.
- Use the barrels. Like several other late-game fights, this room gives you the answer directly.
Route and objective breakdown
- Start with Susan whenever the game gives you the ranged opening on the Witch.
- When Edmund gets his damage window, switch immediately and take it before the boss resets.
- As soon as the fire icon phase begins, roll a burning barrel into the Witch instead of trying to improvise a different punish sequence.
- Switch to Peter when the stun window opens and unload while the boss is actually vulnerable.
- Repeat the loop. The whole fight gets much cleaner the moment you stop trying to invent a shortcut.
Common stuck points
- Fight keeps slipping away late? You are probably abandoning the pattern after a good cycle.
- Not doing enough damage? Make sure the barrel stun and Peter punish are both happening every round.
Completion and cleanup notes
The final boss is much less intimidating on replay because it is so pattern-heavy. Once you understand the order and trust the environmental cue, the fight becomes one of the cleanest endgame encounters in the whole campaign.
Bonus tip
If the Witch resets, take that as your cue to reset your thinking too. Greedy panic hits are what usually drag this fight out.
