I havent read the books yet. I was really hoping to before seeing the movie but the preveiws looked amazing and I had to see it. To tell you the truth the movie was alot better then I expected. Everything was so realistic and detailed it was all so beautiful. The acting was wonderful,the characters where unforgettable, and the setting where mind blowing. Even the voices of the animals where wonderful. I wouldnet have changed a single thing other then the lenght of the movie. I really wouldent have minded if the movie was 4 hours long but thats just unrealistic. This is a movie that I wouldent mind watching again and again. I hope everyone enjoyed it as much as me. I actaully wouldent mind a sequal but now adays sequals arent to good. But with a story line like this it could be even better then the first one. I really hope people go see it again because its a movie for kids and adults. Ill make sure to buy it when it comes out of DVD.
