This movie surpassed what I was expecting. It was beautiful and awe inspiring. I can't even begin to express how great it was. My biggest concern was that the christian themes and symbolism wouldn't show through, but they did and even more so than I had even hoped for. Being a devout Christian myself I could see so much symbolism in this movie. I've been a fan of the books since I was in grade school (about 18-20 years ago) and although I have always been moved when reading the book with the biblical symbolism, they just came to life on screen so profoundly.

For the technical stuff....the acting was incredible. I think they picked the perfect kids to play these characters. They also couldn't have picked a better person to play the witch. She captured that character like no one else could have.

Last but not least, Aslan. This movie would be a flop if Aslan didn't work. And he did so well. The CG's on him were awesome. There were so many scenes throughout this movie where Aslan pulled me in and made me feel so many emotions just by the look in his eyes. When Aslan was walking up to the stone table I could feel the humiliation, devestation, and sorrow he felt just by his eyes. It was incredible how real he was. Again, another example of symbolism here. This helped me see even clearer how Jesus must've felt when he was being mocked, beaten, spit upon, etc when He was crucified. Jesus didn't have to go through what he did, but he did. Aslan didn't have to do that, he could have torn that whole group apart, had he chosen to....but he didn't.

I can't wait to go see it again!!
