I grew up with Narnia as a child, but this film really renewed my interest in Lewis' work. That said, this version of Narnia is far from perfect. There were some pacing difficulties and stiff line deliveries that took away from an otherwise enjoyable performance. Michael Madsen really stood out as Maugrim, and I left the theatre wondering why he wasn't properly credited. (Hopefully this one aspect will have changed by the time this review is published.)
