40 Years after I first cracked the spine on my copy of LWW, Andrew Adamson has truly suceeded in bringing the Narnia I saw in my imagination to life. And he did an exquisite job! Thank you, Son of Adam! My husband, who never read the story, truly enjoyed the film.
Yes, I cried (and I'm not a kid), but more for joy in the long run. It is an amazing tour de force on so many levels - CGI, acting, costumes, story, directing, scenery, etc. I need to see it again to really get the total effect. Aslan was magnificent, as were all the CGI animals.
I loved this book as a child and have shunned every other film or animation. Now, there is a movie I love, too!
