In my openion, The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe, was an amazing movie. Quite possibly the best movie ever. The movies was faithful to the book, and was very clean. I think it is great that it is a movie that you can have fun with without language, gory violence, sex, or drugs. The movies is by all means a masterpice, and is as much a work of art as Starry Night or The Mona Lisa. The make-up was excelent. The music was excelent, yet was a little less than I expected. The acting was good, especially in the carachters of The White Witch, Mr.Tumnus, Lucy, and Peter. Cinematography was good. The costumes were amzing in every sense, if not what I imagined the armies of Narnia looking like. The design of the weapons was fabulous. Andrew Adamson was clearly a good choice for the director of The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe. The special effects are beyond comaping to any other movie, except prehaps The Lord of the Rings. The music was excellent, yet was a little less than I expected. I noticed that the movie seemed a bit rushed from the middle to the end, and there were some important details skipped. I was unhappy that the proffessor did not say "Once a king of Narnia, always a king of Narnia." But oh well.
