I went into this movie with very high expectations. I was most interested to see how they portrayed Aslan as the extremely good, but very intimidating lion. I was slightly let down. I originally thought that he was in it very little, but they kept all the parts except for the run through the woods. I thought this Aslan was very good and Liam Neeson's voice was perfect.
The acting was great, especially by the kids (my personal favorite being Edmund/Skandar Keynes). But I thought James McAvoy as Tumnus was the best of all.
The CG animals were very lifelike and the rest of the effects were great. tHe most disappointing part was the music. I thought it was bland at best and innapropriate at parts.
I thought the film was very well done, funny and stayed as close to the book as possible. I will be seeing this in the theatres again for sure.
