There's one word I have to say for this. WOW. What a great movie! It was true to the book, the acting was great, and I absolutely ADORED Aslan. I loved him in the books instantly, and I had ideas about what he looked like, so it was really cool to see what other people thought his appearance was(pretty close to mine^_^).
The White Witch. Her acting was so great that I was disgusted by her whenever she came on the screen! Her hair and outfits were pretty weird, but they fit her personality perfectly.
The four Pevensies were casted exceptionally. Lucy, with her curiosity and wonder, Susan, with her sensibility with first coming to Narnia, Peter, his uncertainty, and of course Edmund, with his jealousy and belief of Jadis. Mr Tumnus was great; I loved his entrance with Lucy! The music was oddly frightening for me. When Lucy fell asleep, even though I knew it was going to happen, I still stayed tense! I was on the verge of tears when Aslan was sacrificed on the Stone Table, and when he came back, me and my sister were smiling at each other.
When the movie was over, I was talking about it. A LOT. I said it was my favorite movie, and I really want the soundtrack-- Oh! One more thing to add to my Christmas list! I(rather impatiently) await the rest of the Chronicles, tapping my foot and chatting about it.
