I was looking forward to this movie a great deal and was not disappointed. Overall it was wonderful and was delightfully faithful to the book. I thought Skander nailed Edmund and the Twilda Swinton was amazing.
I have but two and half complaints: First, I would have liked more of an emphasis on Aslan. His scenes felt rushed and it would have been nice to have seen more joy and celebration between him, Lucy, and Susan over his resurrection rather than spend so much time with the White Witch.
Second, The end scenes cut between the battle (well into the morning) and the table with the girls grieving (not yet dawn) which did not work and I felt was very poor judgement on part of the editing department. It destroyed both the mood of the battle and then the mood at the table when we see Aslan.
My half complaint is that I felt that the fox was really annoying and not very convincing (unlike Mr. and Mrs. Beaver). But since he has such a small role anyway it may not be worth getting too excited over.
