Review by Amy Quinn

4.7 / 5

Congratualations to the cast & crew! This was quite a challenge & you all met it beautifully. I have not enjoyed watching a movie so much for a long time. My first reaction to the previews was oh no they cast a brunette as Lucy but Georgie is wonderful. All the casting was perfect I thought. On the less positive side, the chief of police was Fenris Ulf. Maugrim was a poor change in the BBC version. I was disappointed in all the bickering between the four children & there was never a mention of returning home once they spoke with Mr Beaver. So I would like to have seen the dialog follow the book closer. This could be important as you continue to adapt the books. Otherwise I loved it & I cannot wait to see it again & I look forward to seeing the other books done.
