The only thing I didn't approve of was the fact that the children were not told that Aslan was a lion. In the book the beavers tell this to the children along with a prophecy about him shaking his mane and it will be Spring again. The film didn't try to go anywhere by leaving out this info. No one seemed surprised, and the lion on the poster kind of gives something away if they were thinking to spring that onto viewers. Either way, that could have been included.
That said, I thought the movie was fantastic. The director did a great job of keeping the feel of the work. Nothing in particular stood out, the story sold itself. That is what it is supposed to do, and I loved it. Please go see it, you are missing something great if you didn't!
