4.6 / 5

I really loved the movie. It was done very well, and they had a great cast. The music was good, it could have been better. I think that he stole too much from LOTR, but it was still good. I love all the songs at the end of the ST CD. My favorite is "Wunderkind".

They did an amazing job on Aslan. He looks so real. I think that they should have gotten a different preson to do his voice, but oh well.

I think that they got the perfect kids to play Peter, Susan, Edmund and Lucy, They all really look like brothers and sisters. They all play their parts so well.

One of the things that I do not like, it their casting choice for the White Witch. She does a great job playing the part, but she seems out of place, like she does not fit in. I hate her voice, she sounds to whiney.

The costumes were amazing, they fit the time period perfect. I loved Lucy and Susan's dresses.

The digital affects are done really well. The beavers look so amazingly real. The fox could have used some help and the wolves since they used both real and CG, they were OK. The one thing that bothers me to no end is the fact that at points in the movie you can tell that the kids were cut and pasted in. In LOTR that did not have that problem, so why now. I mean it has been 2.5 years since LOTR came out, you would think that they would not have to deal with this kind of thing anymore. (I know that LOTR was a much bigger project, but still)

All in all, it was a great FAMILY film and it will be a movie my family will watch over and over again.

P.S. I have just started watching the BBC Narnia movies, and they all look so fake. It is amazing what computers can do.
