← All reviews of The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe (2005)
Review by Leah
The Chronicles Of Narnia: The Lion, Witch, And The Wardrobe is now my favorite film. Why? Not only am I destined to marry Peter (William Moseley), but these were my favorite books as a kid and they did SO well in re-enacting it into reality (for me, anyways). I loved the scenes and I can I tell that I love this movie with a passion because I want to watch it over and over and everything in my life now reminds me of the movie, or Narnia, or something like that. There wasn't one thing I did not like about that movie. I would recommend it whole heartedly. This film and series has changed my life. It is so symbolic of what C.S. Lewis believed and that is what I believe too. (He was a Christian, to all that didn't know). It follows the story so well and it is a spectacular to make the whole story exciting and full of fear and passion in a way that people can relate. This definitely is my favorite movie. The acting in the movie was also awesome. I loved each character. I laughed at the funny parts, cried at the sad parts, and hid behind my open hands (just enough to see) when the fearful parts came. I also had the most heart-warming feeling after I saw it the first time and the feeling still has not left my heart. I doubt it ever will. I also hope that at a point in time, I will marry Peter (William Moseley). He is just so perfectly matched. You know when people say you can never find the exact perfect match? I don't think that is true. As long as William acts with half as much kindness as his character, he'd still be the perfect person for me. Also, he's just flat out beautiful. Like I said before, I have found no flaw in this movie so far. Anything that reminds me of this movie brings a immediate smile to my face. There's no explaining my passion and love for this story. Way to go C.S. Lewis, that's all I have to say!! Watch this film and read the series! When the other films come out, watch them too!!!
