Narnia has gone way beyond my expectations. When I first watched the trailer in the cinemas, I thought it would probably be one of those immature uninspiring childish family films (I hadn't laid hands on the books, so yea.), A couple of my friends urged me to watch the film with them on the premiere, and I did. The movie, honestly, was breathtaking. I hadn't expected anything like that (Obviously the trailer did not do the film justice), it was brilliantly directed and the locations where they had shot the film made Narnia appear to be such a wonderful and beautiful place. The actors were exceptionally played, mainly Henley with her character Lucy. She practically made all of us walk in her shoes throughout the film. There couldn't be anyone other than Tilda Swinton to play the White Witch. There's this sort of fantasy like appearance I really love about her. William Moseley was marvellous as Peter, Anna Popplewell did a convincing know-it-all sister Susan, and lastly Skandar Keynes, who's character is pretty much hated most other than the Witch, did great as Edmund. There's so much to see in this film, so savour every moment. It is much much better than most would think. It's a very pleasing film. =)
