I thought the entire movie was amazing.

When I go into a book-turned-film feature, I always find myself nitpicking. They missed this. They forgot that. THAT didn't even happen in the books. I've sat through the last 4 Harry Potter films, and even though I enjoyed them immensely, I couldn't help but pout at the faults.

When I walked out of the theatre opening night, after seeing my first of several showings of The Lion, The Witch, and the Wardrobe, two things instantly came to mind. 1) That I could think only of very minor things they didn't include in the film from the original book. And 2) For the most part, I was too wrapped up in the magic on screen to really notice.

Everything surpassed all of my expectations. The four children, two Kings and two Queens I've looked up to for so long, were portrayed perfectly. The settings made me actually feel as if I had too found a magical country in the back of a wardrobe. The creatures looked so incredibly *real*, that I almost wondered if they simply hired them from Narnia itself.

The touching scenes made me cry. The humorous scenes made me laugh. Everything was as it should be, and in the end, as Lucy, Edmund, Susan, and Peter had their coronation, I felt the urge to stand up and clap.
