I was one of those who wished the movie would stay true to the book but when it did, I realized it would have been much better if the makers exercised more of their creative license. The movie is fine but it lacks the boldness that Peter Jackson's Lord of the Rings had. I guess I would've loved everything about it if I was 12 or younger. It was pretty surprising that it came out uhm...without surprises. It was pretty much how it was in the book except reading offers something more than watching, if you know what I mean. I really wish I could rave about this movie which I've waited for for over a year but unfortunately, I can only be in self-denial for a little while. A lot of people will probably disagree especially the purists but here's hoping the scriptwriters would use their creative imaginations more in Prince Caspian.
