My family and friends went to see Narnia at a pre-screening, the younger kids were aged 12-19 and there were 4 adults as well. From the air raids in the opening sceen to the Professor hinting of his adventure in Narnia, we were spellbound. Although there were times that the script went away from the book, I felt that the added sceens were a way of getting more "character" from the characters (no pun intended!). While some parts of the film were considered scary for younger eyes, older children can really enjoy Narnia and parents can use this film to talk about questions such as "Why did Aslan die?" And with those questions tell their children about sacrifice and love for others.
