I think they did a great job with the visual effects of the movie. With me being a huge Star Wars fan, I was expecting Narnia to be nothing close to what Star Wars was. Star Wars has more green screen stuff to do, almost every scene that was filmed had 85% of the set green screen. Narnia had more to do with computer animation (the beavers, making the wolves talk) ect. All in all I think Narnia is right up there with Star Wars, and if anyone could get close to Star Wars, it will definately make itself on my top 5 list! As far as other aspects of the movie, I think they did a pretty good job with the story. I know the story came straight out of a book, but as a director you are carrying a lot of weight on your shoulders because the fans are expecting more out of the movie then the book. I also think they did a pretty good job with the music. And what I think they did the best job on, casting. The charecters in the film were picked absoluteley perfect. All four of the actors/actresses were phenomenal picks for the movie. And the thing I liked the best about the actors/actresses who played the kids, is that they were all hard working. I don't think you could find a harder working group hten these people. So with all that said I think this movie would most definately make it on my top 5 list and I expect the next one to be better!
