There is something in all of us that wants to be a part of a wonderment so much bigger than ourselves. I think that is why so many people are drawn to the Narnia books. Whether you are making spiritual parallels, love fantasy, or believe that magical worlds are real, CS Lewis created an unparalleled journey into your own mind. Simply, the books were written with just enough detail to get you by. If you have a vivid imagination, the books open up a magical world you can enter any time you like.
The Narnia movie was the best possible representation that i think could have feasibly come out on screen. Hats off to everyone involved. We all wanted to see our imagination onscreen. They have accomplished that, and so much more. I cannot sit to watch the movie without wanting to stand up and cheer, bury my face and cry, and any and every other emotion that you could fathom. The music alone makes my heart swell.
I truly thank everyone involved for giving the world the chance, and through a children's story no less, to feel that urge to strive to be great once again.
