4.4 / 5

well what can I say...WOW!!! I practically had my eyes glued to the screen as I watched this film. There was so much understanding of CS Lewis's novel and it fitted perfectly with my imaginings. The acting was incredibly convincing, the children in particular were very good at playing their characters. As I am a musician myself I notice the music in every film and Harry Gregson-Williams is one good composer!! He did the music perfectly - it fitted with each situation amazingly. I had been looking forward to this film for a while and it exceeded all of my expectations. It was just magical, there were no obvious flaws and ok Peter was slightly corny but he's meant to be a little I think!! The scenary was fantastic, the White Witch's castle was as well. It was so amazing - you could identify with the characters so well. It's probably the best film I've seen in a while.

When you watch the bonus material on the dvd, you can see how much work every different group of talented people put into it. It is wonderful that their work has paid off so well. I am sure that I will watch the film more than once - it's certainly worth it!

If you haven't seen it already, you need to! It truly is unmissable. If you don't see it you will be missing out on so much. Also if you haven't got the soundtrack GET IT NOW!!!! amazing. I love the film so much, as does everyone I've spoken to about it. If you like the book you will definitely like the film. If you don't like the book you will still enjoy it as it's a good film. I'd rate it A+++++++++++ to infinity!! Enjoy it, there aren't many films like it!
