I loved this movie! I would say that the animation of the lion, and other CG characters could have been better, but you take what you get. The one thing i thought for sure was best was the acting. The Casting of William Moseley, Anna Popplewell, Skandar Keynes, and Georgie Henley was as close to the Pevensie children as you can get. They really put their emotions into everything, and made it evident that they were enjoying themselves. I watched the movie with the commentary, and listened to Andrew ( the director), and the 4 children talk about their experiences during the filming of the movie. It was really interesting to hear their veiws and intakes on what happened. Watching the movie gives a person the sense of reality, and that what happened, really happened. It was easy to feel the reality because of how real all of the sets were, especially the Narnia during the winter one.
I didn't notice much make-up during the film, (except when Peter gets that nasty gash on his head) but however much was put on, it looked very natural, and that's the way you want it. You don't want anyone to notice, because then the film will seem more real. I mean, you want the people that see the movie to say "Wow! that looked like those kids really are the Pevensies, and that people came and filmed them exploringa magical land inside a wardrobe."
This movie really was incredible, and my best wishes go out to everyone invloved in the making and planning of this movie, and future movies from the Chronicles of Narnia set.
