I have always loved The Chronicles of Narnia books, and even the BBC version was good enough for me. But this was so awesome! It was really like seeing my favorite story come to life! It wasn't quite as elegant as the book, and I missed some of the cut parts. But overall, it's the best movie I've seen.
I must say the White Witch was not quite as dramatic as I think she should have been, but the scene in which Aslan is killed was great. Also, when she says, "How do I know this promise will be kept?" and Aslan roars, she's supposed to flee in fright! Instead, she coolly sits down in her chair and is carried off. That was a bit disappointing.
In conclusion, however, I want to say thank you to everyone who helped make this possible. If any others of the series are made, the DVD will be sitting on my shelf the day it comes out!
