Review by Vortex271
This was the first movie I went to with my current flame, and though I expected it to be just another made-for-the-masses-adaptation, I was honestly blown away by the quality of this film. The musical scores are nothing short of breathtaking, the loyalty to the book is beyond anything I have seen upon the silver screen up front, and the casting was exactly as I had portayed it in my minds eye. This movie bore so many refrences to morality, hope, and the power of unconditional love, and its portrayal of the epic struggle between warmth and chill was in its element here.
An amazing amazing film.
