I believe that the movie was very well done. It stayed quite true to the books, with only minor altercations. These altercations were merely changes neccessary to make the story work cinematically.
The Pevensie siblings were cast to ultimate perfection, I believe. The actors are quite a lot like their characters, and they are extremely believable as a family, right down to looks.
The effects were spot-on, except in maybe two scenes, where the use of green-screen was rather obvious.
All in all, I believe this film is one that stands above the rest, and is one that I, along with many others, will certainly enjoy for years to come.
