I was raised on The Chronicles of Narnia books, so I went to see the movie with a very critical eye. From the first minutes of the movie I felt very nostalgic almost emotional, like I said I was raised on these books. My imagination had always given me a good picture of how every thing would have looked in Narnia, but now I was looking at a movie that was putting the book into pictures for me. I was amazed at how well the special affects where incorporated into the movie. Unlike other movies, special affects can take over the movie but not with the Chronicles of Narnia. It was a perfect balance of special affects and real acting that give an awesome and true to book picture of something I think C.S. Lewis would be proud of.
I would give The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe a 9 out of 10 only because I felt the acting of William Moseley (Peter Pevesie) could have been better, it wasn't bad I just think it could have been better. On the other had I felt that Georgie Henley (Lucy Pevensie) gave an Oscar winning performance.
