I have loved "The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe" book since I was very little. I was very protective of its sanctity in the literary world when I heard that it was going to be a movie. It had to be done just right. I was at the same time very excited to see my favorite book on the big screen.

I saw the movie at the first showing when it came out. I was very moved by Andrew Adamson's presentation. I was pleased by how true it stayed to the book, and also enjoyed other elements he had added in, such as the Melting River and the Battle scene.

The Stone Table and the Battle scenes were very powerful and moving. When I am short on time, I skip my DVD ahead to these scenes. The sacrifice, love, courage, and beauty of those scenes touch the soul.

I loved Tilda Swinton as the White Witch, and also thought all of the children were perfect in their roles. The special effects and CGI characters are very realistic.

I love "The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe"and I encourage everyone to see it at least once.
