The film was everything I had hoped it would be. For so long I have wanted to see a film that would bring Narnia and all its characters to life. The special effects, especially the battle sequence was as fine a cinamatic triumph as I have ever seen. The actors were so good in their roles that it seemed as if they weren't acting at all, but were living the story.

I have read the books many times over the last 20 years, and even though I am 60 years old, these stories speak to me in so many different aspects.

20 years ago I was going through a severe battle with depression. It was through reading the Chronicles of Narnia books that someone lent me that spoke to me spiritually and brought me out of it and landed me back on my feet.

I cannot wait for the next film, "Prince Caspian" to be released.
