In fifth grade, I was read LWW and instantly fell in love with the story. I sooned learned of the other novels and read them all. I guess one of my friends loved them too, for he borrowed them all and never did return them. 10 years later while browsing at a book sale at work, I saw a cover of a huge book with Aslan on it. I knew instantly it was him and bought the book which contained all the stories. I tried to watch the BBC versions of the stories but they didn't seem to interest me. When I saw the previews of this LWW a day after my birthday, I knew it was a movie that I must see and surpisingly enough, many of my friends new what I was talking about. I never realized how popular the book was. This movie was exactly as I pictured it almost 20 years ago in fifth grade. The casting was excellent and just everything about the movie was awesome. I can't wait to see the rest of the movies. This movie totally tops to my favorite movie and book of all. It makes me cry, smile, laugh, and just feel like I'm in another place and time.
