I have always been a huge fan of Narnia, so I was somewhat apprehensive of the making of it into a movie. But the plot was honorably represented, and all other aspects of the film were gorgeous. I'm glad that the movie stands well on its own, and gives people a good view of the books. I think that Andrew Adamson did a wonderful job. The CGI was amazing. Some of the actors were not quite the way they are in the book, but they fit fine in the movie.
