I absolutely love this movie. The direction, make-up, music, and really, I can't see room for much improvement. The only thing that I could see wrong, is the special effects. They were great, but I could see the ever so slight difference between the actual set, and a green screen. Mainly, it was the beginning scene. To be honest, when I saw it in theaters, I thought it was going to be a trailer for a well-animated WW2 movie. But the scene is great. In the book, that entire scene is wrapped up in the sentence "This story is about something that happened to them [Peter, Susan, Edmund, and Lucy] when they were sent away from London because of the air-raids." In the movie the scene really gives a good picture about what C.S Lewis was writing about.

I especially liked the way they showed how that Narnia and earth have different time. That is, when Lucy is first entering the wardrobe, you can here Peter counting, "98, 97, 96, 95" then when Lucy gets comes back, Peter is still counting, "94, 93, 92, 91"

The make-up was outstandingly good. Especially the White Witch. They did a very good job at making her beautiful, yet, cold, and proud.

The number one thing in the movie, I think, would be the music. I'd give the music five stars. I strongly recommend buying the soundtrack, if you already haven't. Over all, I give the movie five stars, and really if I could I'd give it seven.
