Tim Finn has released his seventh solo album this week entitled Imaginary Kingdom. The album includes the song Winter Light, which was used in the final credits of the latest Narnia film.

Imogen Heap talks LWW Soundtrack
Imogen Heap, as you may know, wrote a song that appears on the Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe soundtrack. It’s the song “Can’t Take It In” that you hear right when the credits begin.

“Can’t Take It In” Nominated for World Soundtrack Award
The nominees to the 2006 World Soundtrack Awards, to be handed out during the Flanders International Film Festival in Ghent, Belgium, on October 14, were revealed today. Dario Marianelli, Alberto Iglesias, James Newton Howard and Gustavo Santaolalla all received two nominations each.

BMI honors ‘Narnia’ composer at 2006 Film/TV Awards
BMI composer Harry Gregson-Williams will receive the 2006 Richard Kirk Award for Outstanding Career Achievement at the performing right organization’s Film & Television Awards slated for Wednesday, May 17 at the Regent Beverly Wilshire Hotel in Beverly Hills. The British-born composer, who was named Composer of the Year at the 2005 Hollywood Film Festival, is currently working on the Narnia sequel, Prince Caspian.

LWW Soundtrack that We Want to Own
These albums/songs do are not on the official soundtrack, but are available on a Bootleg CD. Hopefully Disney will one day release it onto CD. Bootlegs are not legal, and I do not know how to get a copy of this, and do not own one myself. I am personally going to wait for Disney. This is on the website to raise awareness to music fans, that there is more music that could be released for the 2005 film The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe.
