Thanks to “TheWhiteWolf”, and a site called “The Technos Guild,” we can confirm that Prince Caspian will be shot in Auckland, New Zealand during February and March 2007. After shooting wraps in New Zealand, filming moves for a heftier four months of production in Prague, Czech Republic. We’re not sure if the shoot will move to Ireland, as was rumor.

Ian is an accomplished author and photographer based in the alpine town of Lake Wanaka, in the South Island of New Zealand. His love of country, film, photography and warbirds have combined to produce some remarkable books and images.

New Zealand is poised to reap the benefits of yet another big budget film with the companies behind the Narnia movies – Disney and Walden Media – hoping to make their next film in the country.

Walden Media, Beacon Pictures and Revolution Studios are teaming to produce a “Narnia”-scale film based on children’s fantasy novel The Water Horse, by British author Dick King-Smith.

Ireland is being targeted as a likely location for a sequel to the Christmas movie blockbuster ‘The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe.’

Now both literary and film fans of Lewis’ classic can be whisked away on their own magical adventure to the locations featured in some of the most memorable scenes in the movie thanks to a number of tour companies now offering Narnia-related tours in England, Northern Ireland and New Zealand.

In Disney’s new blockbuster The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe, four young siblings use a wardrobe door to travel from wartime England to the mythical landscapes of Narnia, the fairy-tale world made famous by British novelist C.S. Lewis.

Letting The Goblet of Fire prepare the marketplace for its arrival, The Chronicles of Narnia grossed $41.5 million from just 13 markets.
