Buena Vista Games ships more than 2 million units of the Chronicles of Narnia video game to retail outlets in North America and Europe. The launch of Multiplatform Video Game Inspired by Epic Film The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe marks BVG’s Largest Self-Publishing Initiative.

Based on the epic tale of The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe, the console games have been developed by UK-based Traveller’s Tales. The Narnia games are now available for the PlayStation 2 computer entertainment system, the Xbox videogame system from Microsoft, Nintendo’s GameCube, Nintendo DS and Game Boy Advance systems, and PC.

Buena Vista went straight to the leader in young adult titles – Traveller’s Tales – to create The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, The Witch, and The Wardrobe, which is scheduled for release on November 14th. We were fortunate enough to grab a few minutes with Andy Burrows, who is both the designer and associate producer at Traveller’s.

IGN has learned that development studio Traveller’s Tales (A Bug’s Life, Finding Nemo) will helm the upcoming videogame adaptations of Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, The Witch and the Wardrobe.
