A Moment to Remember

On an ordinary Tuesday morning, thousands of lives changed forever. In the years since, September 11th has become more than a date on the calendar: it is a reminder of how quickly everything can change, and how little of what we chase each day matters compared with the people beside us.

Take a moment today. Call someone you love. Thank someone who has helped you. Say the kind thing out loud. It is a small way of honoring those who never got the chance to do those things again, and the many who ran toward danger to help people they had never met.

We remember not to dwell in grief, but to gently remind ourselves, every year, of what truly matters.

2,977 lives were lost that day — friends, parents, children, and strangers alike.
