Andrew Adamson Interviewed on The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe

When I met Andrew Adamson on the set of “The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe” last fall, he was surrounded by stone statues, tangled electronics, and countless crew members. The voice of Aslan hadn’t yet been cast, he’d been working on the movie round the clock, and he seemed- to put it mildly- like he was carrying the weight of an entire fantasy world on his creative shoulders. This November, a much more relaxed Adamson basked in the anticipated released of “The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe” and took time to talk to press.

Interview with William Moseley (Peter) and Anna Popplewell (Susan)

William Moseley and Anna Popplewell play the oldest of those four children – Peter and Susan. They get drawn into the world of Narnia by their sister Lucy, and further enmeshed in the bad situation there by their brother Edmund. Moseley and Popplewell have been immersed in Narnia now for a couple of years, and they seem no worse the wear for it. They were bright and charming teenagers, happy to field even the lamest questions the journalists at my roundtable could come up with.

And though this movie-based-on-the-book may not be anticipated in quite the same I-just-might-die-if-I-don’t-see-it-on-the-first-night kind of way as it was for its recent brethren (ahem, Harry and Frodo), it’s nonetheless quite exciting for “Narnia” lovers everywhere.
