Narnia.com Includes New Image of Lucy

As we move closer to the theatrical release of “The Voyage of the Dawn Treader,” the film’s official website (narnia.com) has continued to add new content. Earlier today, this image of Lucy in what appears to be the Magician’s Garden appeared on the site:

In front of Lucy is a very Burton-esque garden; behind her, a bright light atop a staircase.

It also appears Narnia.com will make some of the locations and individual islands available on a rolling schedule, starting with Narrowhaven in September and ending with Aslan’s Country in November, not long before the film’s December 10 release.

Until then, all we have are two trailers, a few clips, and images like this. They do help pass the time!

  1. That is a really cool picture. I never imagined it like that in the book, but I think that this is a really cool idea. Great job!

  2. Yeah, I know what you mean. The movie (or what we’ve seen of it so far) really makes the magician’s house even more magical. I can’t wait to see it!

On another note, I love the lines in the garden grass. Way cool!

  3. Very neat…but mysterious! When will more islands be available to view on the “Explore Narnia” section?

  4. HOLY COW!!! I just went to rotten tomatoes and on the front page it shows this exact thing:

    MOST ANTICIPATED
Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part I The Chronicles of Narnia: The Voyage of the Dawn Treader Resident Evil: Afterlife Little Fockers Machete Tron Legacy Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides Season of the Witch Wall Street 2: Money Never Sleeps Easy A

VOTDT is the second most anticipated movie this year!!! GOOD WORK PAUL AND NARNIA FANS!!! THAT PROBABLY WOULD NOT HAVE BEEN POSSIBLE IF YOU GUYS DIDN’T SUPPORT THEM!!! AGAIN, GOOD WORK!!! here’s the link: http://www.rottentomatoes.com/
(you should see a thing saying ‘Coming soon’ on the LEFT side of the page the ‘Most Anticipated’ thing is right under that.

  5. A door in the wall of the magicians house, with the house invisible. Doesn’t this remind anyone of the door in the hill on Ramandu’s (sp?) Island, with the door opening up and a bright light coming out? Still, very cool looking. I wonder what it will look like in the movie…showing the garden, and then a door opening and her stepping out. That will be cool!
